Junior Firefighters
Become a Junior Firefighter
The Hall Mountain Volunteer Fire Association cares about the youth in our community. Not only are we seeking future firefighters, but we also want to help inspire and train young men and women to build confidence in emergency services and life.
Junior Fire Fighters can start training at 16 years old. They can train and even earn certifications in fire techniques, safety, radio communications, first aid, and other emergency response areas!
Juniors can join the department with an active member as their sponsor or independently, but will need to have an assigned mentor before responding to calls. Juniors may begin responding with their sponsor or assigned mentor once their training has been approved by the fire association chief.
*Junior Fire Fighters must have a signed release from their parent or guardian.
For more information you can contact the fire association chief using the contact form or call (208) 267-7375.
